'Small Bites' International Cooking Class At The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis
Led by The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis Executive Chef Melissa Lee, born and raised in southern Ireland, the luxury hotel is offering a special hands-on cooking class with true international flavor.
The "Small Bites from Around the Word" cooking class will be held Saturday, August 24, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants in the class will be busy with a day of cooking in the hotel's kitchens under the watchful eyes and expert guidance of The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis culinary staff. The class will be following favorite recipes from the international collection of Ritz-Carlton chefs, who hail from France, Singapore, India, Bosnia, and the United States, among other locales from around the globe.
The day's menu will include fare for a light reception, plated four-course "small bites," and a dessert buffet - all prepared by the class:

After the participants prepare the items, they and the Ritz-Carlton chefs will enjoy them for lunch in The Wine Room. Cooking class students will also receive a booklet with the recipes of all the dishes and will be served breakfast prior to the start of class.
