Internet Safety Town Hall Meeting at Clayton High School

The School District of Clayton PTO Council is inviting parents, community members and middle and high school students to learn how they can promote Internet safety among their children and peers while working to prevent cyberbullying. The Internet Safety Town Hall Meeting will be held on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Clayton High School auditorium, #1 Mark Twain Circle.

The forum will focus on spreading awareness and educating the Clayton community about the dangers of cyberbullying while offering resources and suggestions for helping students stay safe when using the Internet.

The evening’s guest speaker is retired Glendale Police Lt. Joe Laramie, who is a nationally known presenter on the topic of online crimes against children, technology safety and cyberbullying. During his 31 years of service with the Glendale Police Department, Laramie was the founding commander of the Missouri Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force and served on the Executive Committee of the National ICAC Task Force.
