Earth Day Cleanup at Forest Park

Earth Day is fast approaching. Have you given any thought towards getting involved?

Operation Wild Lands (OWLs) will be out in force on April 20th from 9:00 a.m. until noon in support of cleanup efforts at Forest Park in St. Louis. For many years now, along with the Open Space Council in St. Louis, OWLs has participated in the annual Earth Day festivities near Forest Park. Each year, our volunteers serve as environmental stewards by actively cleaning an area of Forest Park. This directly coincides with our mission to improve natural habitats and maintain a healthy level of environmental quality. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, and need only attend as all necessary equipment will be provided. Forest Park provides an ideal work site due to its centralized location. Volunteers often utilize this experience to enjoy one of Missouri’s most storied open spaces.
