“Dinner With The Doctor” offers chance to better manage heart valve disease

The SSM Heart
Institute is presenting a unique opportunity for those with heart valve disease
or disorders to discuss treatment options over dinner with one of the region’s
leading heart specialists.

Cardiothoracic surgeon Trevor
Axford, MD, of SSM Heart Institute at St. Mary’s Health Center will explain
what causes heart valves to fail and why it’s critical to manage and treat
valve problems for long-term health.

Guests will have the opportunity
to get answers to their questions about treatment options. This event will be
of special interest if you or family members have been diagnosed with heart
valve disease.
