The Bach Society of Saint Louis’ annual gala will offer a
taste of musical entertainment accompanied by the fine cuisine of Butler’s
Pantry in the contemporary ambiance of the Palladium Saint Louis. Rev. Greg & Alayne Smith will be the
Honorary Chairs for this event. The
theme of the signature event, “Bachanalia”, on Friday, April 11th,
will be Turn Bach the Clock. The evening will be spent celebrating
people and events from the past that have helped to make the Bach Society so
successful over the years.
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with hors d’ouvres,
cocktails and a silent auction. Shortly
thereafter, a sumptuous dinner will be served and guests will be treated to
musical entertainment by the Bach Society 2013-2014 Young Artists: soprano Mary Beth Freitag, mezzo-soprano
Laura Beth Codispoti, tenor Terrince Tackett and baritone Ravi Raghuram.
