‘365 DAYS WITH DAD’ – paintings by CBABI BAYOC

Opening Friday, Sept 7th 6:30-8:30 pm (artist talk at 7:30). Free and open to all. Exhibiting daily through October.

This art exhibit represents a step in
Cbabi Bayoc’s life mission, “Preserving the image of the responsible and
present black father, and showing the beauty in black faces to all faces.”

Artist and owner of Sweetart
Bakeshop Café Art Studio, Cbabi Bayoc created a portrait nearly every day since
January 1, 2012 of a father interacting with his kid. The resulting project,
titled ‘365 Days with Dad,’ goes beyond showing fathers who go through the motions of parenthood, by depicting engaging and teachable moments.
