Weird St. Louis Craigslist: 'Don't Insult Me' French Armchairs

A fancy furniture duo, old tiles and a pricey air purifier are among this week's highlights from Richmond Heights.

Richmond Heights residents seeking good deals this weekend need look no farther than Craigslist for some cool—and unusual—finds.

Here are several pieces of locally owned merchandise recently posted for sale:

Piecing It Together
If you're looking for that perfect bathroom experience, here's something for you: A whole bunch of random tiles that the seller purchased at an estate sale. Grout and back-breaking labor not included.

Really Expensive Air
This seller is giving away an Idylis air purifier—for $165. Another cost-effective option for cleaning the air: Open a window.

'Don't Insult Me' French Armchairs
The seller says these walnut armchairs from France date to the late 1800s. Seriously. "No lowballers. Don't insult me," the seller writes. "I could run these through Selkirk's but am trying CL."

Save David Freese's Neck
This St. Louis Cardinals bobblehead depicts the great David Freese with what appears to be a fashionable scarf made of tape. Writes the seller: "Please note that I did not take the plastic off the bobblehead around the neck … I wanted to make sure the bobblehead stayed in pristine condition for the new owner."

An Apple iPhone 5 That Isn't
Are you a parent looking to let your tech-spoiled kid down easily? Here are two 'tablet' like learning computers (seller's words) priced at $15. The best part: You don't need a Genius to figure them out.
