Weekend Events Include Pool Plunge, Sounds of Summer Concert

If you're looking for something to do in and near Clayton or Richmond Heights this weekend, we've got the list for you. Check out these upcoming events, then tell us what you'll be doing by posting a comment to the article.


When/Where: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at
Why Go: The pool will host a free family celebration of the city's recent designation as a Green Power Community by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. You'll experience the music of Project 324 and have the opportunity to play games for prizes.


When/Where: 9 p.m. Friday at the St. Louis Art Museum, 1 Fine Arts Drive in St. Louis City
Why Go: The museum will host a free outdoor showing of the 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany's, starring Audrey Hepburn. Movie-goers are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs.


When/Where: 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at , 9100 Russell Ave. in Brentwood
Why Go: The Ultraviolets will perform a free outdoor concert as part of this annual event.


When/Where: Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday in Richmond Heights
Why Go: Browse for groceries, grab a cup of coffee or just relax with the sounds of these two local groups. Jon Thomas and Friends will perform Saturday, and Bill Barnett will perform Sunday.


When/Where: Room 110 of January Hall at Washington University, 1 Brookings Dr.
Why Go: The school is hosting a free film series of Frankenstein movies through the end of July. Tuesday's film is Andy Warhol's Frankenstein. .
