Weekend Events Include Cycling Tours, Book Fair

When/Where: Daily through Sept. 25 at the Missouri History Museum, 5700 Grand Dr. in St. Louis City
Why Go: Learn about the many ways black Americans have contributed to the nation. You'll see exhibits with ties to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Michael Jordan and Etta James, among others
Pricing: $8 adults, $5 seniors, $5 children ages 6 to 12, free to children under age 6


When/Where: Locations throughout St. Louis City
Why Go: Pack your water bottles and sunscreen and head out to Forest Park for a look at some of St. Louis' most photogenic attractions. The bike tour covers approximately 10 miles and lasts between two and a half and three hours. Reservations are recommended.
Pricing: Varies by group size


When/Where: Noon to 5 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Ridgway Visitor Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden, 4344 Shaw Blvd. in St. Louis City.
Why Go: Browse through chairs, collectibles, artwork and more as part of an inventory reduction by The Little Shop Around the Corner at the Garden.

When/Where: 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at in Clayton
Why Go: Children who have autism and are between the ages of 6 and 10 are encouraged to attend the first of several free tennis camps Saturday.
Pricing: Free


When/Where: Noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at , 8600 Delmar Blvd. in University City
Why Go: Brentmoor and Left Bank Books will work together to host an ice cream social and book fair including autographed editions Sunday. The event will feature music by Fanfare and treats from Ted Drewes and Gus' Pretzels.
