Job: Registered nurse — corrections
Pay: $20.07 to $32.11 hourly; $1,605.60 - $2,568.80 bi-weekly; $3,478.80 to $5,565.73 monthly; $41,745.60 to $66,788.80 annually
Benefits: Paid medical insurance, 20 days paid time off during the first year based upon seniority, 10 paid holidays, non-contributory defined benefit retirement plan with vesting after five years, paid life insurance, credit union, 457 Deferred Compensation Plan, pre-tax premium pay plan, dependent care and medical expense reimbursement plans, and short- and long-term disability insurance.
Experience: Requires current licensure as a registered nurse by the Missouri State Board of Nursing. Prefer some experience in an emergency room, intensive care unit or psychiatric unit. Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. The ACLS certification is required within 180 days of employment with St. Louis County. Once obtained, each employee receives an additional $100 per pay period for current ACLS certification.
