Storms Hammer St. Louis; Photos of Damage Sought

Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have been reported around the area, the National Weather Service reported.

Clayton and Richmond Heights were expected to remain under a severe thunderstorm watch until 9 a.m. Sunday, the National Weather Service reported on its website.

More severe weather is possible during the remainder of the weekend and into Monday.

A flash flood warning was to remain in effect until 6:30 a.m. in the cities. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain fell around the area between 11 p.m. Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday, the Weather Service stated.
