Stores Offer Deals for Cinco de Mayo and Mother's Day

Here are five deals in and around Clayton and Richmond Heights.

This week, Frugal Family scoured local sources to come up with great deals on jewelry, mall shopping, Cinco de Mayo eats, a box of chocolate and Mother's Day breakfast items.

Remember to check with the merchants for additional conditions.

1. Deal: Brighton Collectibles at the Saint Louis Galleria in Richmond Heights offers a free pair of earrings when you buy a necklace and bracelet, just in time for Mother's Day.

2. Deal: If you spend $75 or more at any stores in the Galleria, you are eligible to receive a $10 Shop Etc. gift card and a free one-year subscription to Better Homes and Gardens magazine. You can redeem these "Mother's Day Rewards" at the Garden Court in the mall.
Good on: Friday and Saturday

3. Deal: Schnucks in Richmond Heights has several items on sale that will help you prepare a Cinco de Mayo meal at home. Avocados, roma tomatoes, mangoes, Concord Foods Guacamole Mix, Schnucks Sour Cream, Piñata Tortillas and pre-made José Olé Burritos are each 10 for $10.

4. Deal: Moms who head to Creve Coeur's First Watch Restaurant for breakfast, brunch or lunch on Mother's Day will receive a free mini-box of Russell Stover chocolates while supplies last.
Good on: Sunday

5. Deal: If you don't want to go out for Mother's Day, Trader Joe's in Creve Coeur has plenty of items available to make breakfast in bed for your mom. The store's newly published May edition of Fearless Flyer boasts different varieties of cereal, fruit, coffee and baked goods. Deals include a one-pound container of organic California strawberries for $2.99.
