Two residents became Missouri Lottery winners in August.
James Shanahan became one of 21 people to win the $10,000 Scratchers game during the month, the lottery stated on its website.
Meanwhile, Stanley Minor became a $1,000 Scratchers winner.
The lottery awarded "more than $6.5 million in prizes of $1,000 or more" last month, the website states.
