Labor Day Closures, Schedule Changes and More

Trash pick-up, a City Council meeting and other aspects of life in and are being affected by Monday's Labor Day holiday.

TORNADO SIRENS TEST

TRASH AND RECYCLABLES PICK-UP

• Allied Waste pick-up for trash, yard waste and recyclables will happen a day later than normal, the city of Richmond Heights reported on its website. Allied Waste serves both that city and Clayton.

CLOSURES

• The of the St. Louis County Library, located in Clayton, will be closed Monday in observation of the holiday.

MEETING CHANGES

• Richmond Heights City Council will next meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday because of the Labor Day holiday. It normally meets on Mondays.

SPECIAL EVENTS

• Last Splash is set to happen at from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, the city of Clayton's website states.

• will be open for use from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday. The indoor pool will not reopen until Tuesday.
