iPhone 5 Is Coming to Galleria: Are You Buying?

The latest incarnation of Apple's smartphone is set for release in coming weeks, the Huffington Post reports.

Long lines. Waiting for backorders. Is it Black Friday already? No, but it's almost time for Apple to release the newest version of its iPhone, the iPhone 5. An unveiling was scheduled Wednesday, and the device could be in stores on Sept. 21, the Huffington Post reported.

iPhones will be available at the Apple stores in the in Richmond Heights and the West County Center in Des Peres. They'll also be found at AT&T and Verizon stores.

Sources tell the Huffington Post that employees in local AT&T and Verizon stores are being denied vacation requests for late September in anticipation of large crowds seeking the new iPhone.

CNET is reporting that Apple is planning for sales of near 10 million in the first week alone.

Nope, Android is where it's at. Jelly-bean is far superior than IO6. Siri is always misrepresented as fast an intuitive, which is the complete opposite. Galaxy has it mastered.

The Apple event yesterday was phenomenally underwhelming. It's obvious to me that Apple is coasting on continued hype and ongoing media obsession, but isn't delivering the goods. Frankly, the iPhone seems dated, and Apple is playing catchup. No, I won't be buying one.
