Mother's Day at the Clayton Farmer's Market

Girls love farmers markets. It's true. And the best girls of all, Moms are especially fond of any festivity which honors everything good about motherhood.

Moms and farmers markets evoke similar feelings and memories.  When asked what they love most about their Mom, most answers include some mention of a favorite food or a special gathering centered around a family meal.

When asked what they love most about a farmer's market, most people mention food again along with the "warm fuzzies" they get when they stroll among stalls filled with fresh produce and the aromas of freshly brewed coffee and Belgium waffles or BBQ filling the air.

It's no wonder that Moms like Farmer's Markets. They embody everything good about motherhood--love, family & friends and the best part--sharing these with others.  Motherhood is about giving birth to the new, whether it's a baby or a business, and nurturing its development until it's ready to venture into the world at large. (Visits back home to see what's in the fridge are allowed.)
