St. Louis’ own AM 1260 was the first Radio Disney station in the country to support green power through their participation in the Pure Power program.  They believe strongly in supporting our environment and are committed to helping Clayton retain the title of First Green Power Community in Missouri.

The City of Clayton shares this vision supporting green power at all City facilities, including the !

Join us Friday for a rocking green good time with Frosty!

Background:

In January of 2011, the EPA upped the ante and Clayton is now required to reach 3% of the power used in the City coming from green sources by the end of 2011 to retain the title of Green Power Community.  With a little less than one month to go, the City of Clayton’s Green Power Community (GPC) Challenge has the City more than 85% of the way to retaining its status as the FIRST EPA Green Power Community in the state of Missouri.

As of Thanksgiving, we still need approximately 180 Clayton residents to support green power in order to reach the goal by December 31, 2011.  Most who are already supporting the Challenge are doing so by committing to support new Missouri wind farms via enrollment in Ameren Missouri’s Pure PowerTM program.

For as little as 25 cents per day, you can join the crowd and support the Clayton challenge and help develop more green power in Missouri.

Not going to Skate with Frosty?  You can still start supporting the challenge today!

Enrolling in Pure Power takes only minutes but benefits Missouri forever.  Sign up here www.AmerenMissouri.com/PurePower - no account number needed or call 1.866.665.7873!

To thank you for your support - any Clayton resident who enrolls online or over the phone between now and December 31st will receive a free, anytime Wehrenberg Movie Ticket in the mail.
