Westward Expansion: Hillsboro Title Company Opens Three Additional St. Louis Locations in Four Months

St. Louis, MO –- Hillsboro Title Company, a title insurance agent serving residential and commercial clients, is opening three new St. Louis County locations in four months to better serve its growing client base. In May, the company opened a Chesterfield office located at 400 Chesterfield Center, Suite 400 in August, an office located at 30 Thresher Drive in Eureka will open; and, also in August, the Clayton office, located at 7925 Forsyth, will open. The three newest locations join offices already established in Hillsboro, Arnold, Washington, Fenton, and Festus.

This rapid expansion reflects Hillsboro Title Company’s burgeoning bank and realtor relationships in desirable real estate locations, and increases the total office site count to eight. The company’s headquarters and full-service construction disbursing department are located in the organization’s town of origin, Hillsboro, MO. The company currently employs 46 people, a number that CEO  Jacquelyn “Jackie”  Hoyt, expects to significantly grow by 2015.

Hoyt, who began her career at Hillsboro Title Company more than a decade and a half ago as a bookkeeping clerk and climbed the corporate ladder to become CFO and COO, bought the assets of the company in 2012 at the age of 56. Investing in a company right when many of her peers were retiring, Hoyt acknowledges that she “enjoys a challenge.” This growth is proof of Hoyt’s prowess; under her leadership, Hillsboro Title Company has gained significant forward momentum.

“My educational background is in accounting; I’m a numbers person,” Hoyt said. “For too many years, Hillsboro Title Company has been known as the title insurance provider for Franklin and Jefferson counties when, in actuality, we have the ability to serve clients in all of the locations into which we are expanding. We just needed local offices to further cement our presence and continue to develop strong relationships in new areas.”

The company has done just that, all while completing a comprehensive rebrand in 2014 to better reflect Hillsboro Title Company’s current culture and mission. In 2012 company revenues totaled $3.5 million; by 2015, the company is on schedule to report $6 million. Approximately 50% of that additional revenue is expected to be generated by the Eureka, Chesterfield, and Clayton offices.
