TODD NISSENHOLTZ JOINS COFMAN TOWNSLEY LAW FIRM
Personal injury firm adds new partner for first time in over 30 years
(ST. LOUIS / August 27, 2013) The personal injury law firm, Cofman Townsley, has added attorney Todd Nissenholtz, formerly a partner at the Armstrong Teasdale Law Firm. The firm has not hired a new partner in at least 30 years.
As the newest partner at the firm, Nissenholtz’s practice will focus on personal injury and product liability claims related to wrongful death and catastrophic injuries. Nissenholtz will also concentrate on consumer class actions.
“Through my previous litigation practice, I gained a thorough understanding of complex, high dollar claims involving catastrophic injuries. For Cofman Townsley, I bring this knowledge base and join in the company’s ability to prosecute similar claims,” says Nissenholtz.
“Todd’s addition to the firm strengthens our already solid personal injury practice. Todd has a proven track record of success in the courtroom, having tried numerous matters involving serious injuries to verdict in both State and Federal Courts,” says Partner Larry Townsley. “Recognized as a young leader in this field, Todd’s practice and experience will serve as a tremendous asset to the firm’s clients.”
Nissenholtz received his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, Atlanta, in 2003 and was the Research Editor for the Emory International Law Review. While earning his law degree, Nissenholtz clerked for Justice P. Harris Hines of Georgia Supreme Court. He received his B.A. with honors from the University of Texas, Austin, in
1999. Prior to joining Cofman Townsley, Nissenholtz was a partner in Armstrong Teasdale’s litigation department.
Nissenholtz is also an active leader in the community. He sits on several boards and currently chairs “High Fidelity”, independent radio station KDHX’s young professional network. Previously, Nissenholtz was a 2013 member of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce, Young Leaders. In 2011 he served as co-chair of the Cap & Gown Gala for College Bound. Nissenholtz was also a board member of Aim High St. Louis for the last six years. He lives in Clayton, Missouri with his wife and two sons.
