Stephen Limbaugh Elected President of St. Louis Bar Foundation

Former U.S. District Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh Sr., now Armstrong Teasdale senior counsel, has been elected to serve a two-year term as president of the St. Louis Bar Foundation. The Foundation is the charitable arm of The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.

After serving 25 years as a federal judge in the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, Limbaugh joined Armstrong Teasdale in 2008 as a member of the firm’s Litigation practice group. Prior to being appointed to the bench by President Ronald Reagan in 1983, he was in private law practice and served as a Cape Girardeau County prosecuting attorney and Cape Girardeau city attorney.

Limbaugh earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and B.A. from Southeast Missouri State. Admitted to practice in Missouri, he is a member of The Missouri Bar, the American Bar Association, the American Law Institute and the American College of Probate Counsel, among several other professional organizations.
