James Redd Joins Lathrop & Gage LLP

September 9, 2013 (ST. LOUIS ) – Lathrop & Gage LLP recently announced that James Redd has joined the firm’s St. Louis office as an associate in the business litigation practice group.

Redd focuses his practice on business litigation, representing both individuals and businesses in litigated and non-litigated disputes. He has experience representing clients in a variety of matters including breach of contract actions, consumer protection and consumer fraud defense, non-competition and trade secret disputes, and numerous matters involving the enforcement and defense of creditors’ rights. He also advises clients on compliance under state and federal consumer protection and consumer fraud laws and regulations.

Prior to law school, Mr. Redd worked as a management consultant in Chicago where he was dedicated primarily to the design and execution of large-scale program management efforts for one of the nation’s leading insurance benefit administrators and a global private equity investment management firm.

Redd earned his bachelor of arts from DePauw University, and his juris doctorate from Washington University School of Law. He was associate editor for the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy, and was a Washington University School in Law. Redd is a board member for Friends of Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis.
