Diane J. Keefe Joins Lathrop & Gage in St. Louis

St. Louis (July 16, 2014) – Lathrop & Gage is pleased to announce that Diane J. Keefe has joined the firm’s healthcare practice as of counsel in the firm’s St. Louis office.

 

Keefe focuses her practice on healthcare matters, working primarily with hospitals, physicians, physician groups, and other healthcare providers and suppliers. She advises clients on a variety of complex legal problems from compliance and business transactions to operational and management issues. Keefe handles concerns relating to the development of policies and procedures, Stark, anti-kickback, Medicare/Medicaid compliance, EMTALA, HIPAA/HITECH, medical record disclosures, medical staff, employment, licensing, and other issues pertaining to the healthcare sector. She also regularly prepares and negotiates contracts involving professional services, employment, management services, consulting, asset purchases, medical director, business associate agreements, and many other agreements with respect to healthcare matters.

Prior to joining Lathrop & Gage, Keefe was of counsel at a law firm in St. Louis, where she focused on private non-profit hospitals, nursing homes, physician groups and physicians. Keefe received her juris doctor from St. Louis University School of Law.
