What's the Most Expensive Bottle at the Wine and Cheese Place in Clayton?

The manager said whiskey is popular now.

The most expensive bottle at the Wine and Cheese Place in Clayton is actually a bottle of scotch, not wine.

It's a Springbank Scotch, aged 40 years. Manager Paul Hayden said it would cost you $14,000 if it was for sale, but it's already been sold. The shop had one bottle of the 134 made.

The most expensive bottle of wine is one of 100 bottles that came into the United States from Portugal. It's a fortified wine (brandy added) from 1855, for $3,000.

Hayden said it's from Taylor Fladgate, one of the famous port houses in Portugal. He said they got only three bottles and two have sold already.
