Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Completion of 30 credit hours in behavioral sciences, criminology, corrections, or a related area and two years of responsible work experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Possession of a valid driver's license. Must be able to pass a criminal history background check which will be conducted prior to hire.
Responsibilities: Corrections Officers are responsible for maintaining the safety, custody, security and control of inmates at all levels of security in an indirect or direct supervision, prisoner processing or work release environment.

Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Ability to type 50 WPM. Proficient with MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Access. Excellent Spelling and Grammar. Excellent Customer Service Skills.
Responsibilities: Preparation of meeting minutes, maintain board and commission records, prepare coorespondence for Mayor and City Clerk, answer phone and greet/assist citizens and city staff, process documents electronically and other related duties as assigned.

Salary Range: Salary range is $51,295 - $68,137 DOQ.
