Vida Mexican Kitchen Seeks Galleria Location

The company will request an operating permit Monday from the Richmond Heights City Council.

City Council will review the company's request for a conditional use permit at a meeting Monday night, an agenda states. The discussion begins at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall.

St. Louis Magazine initially reported in June that the North Carolina-based restaurant would open a Galleria location by the end of 2011.

Chef Chris Swinyard started Vida Mexican Kitchen, according to the company's website. Offerings include handmade guacamole, tacos and enchiladas along with filet mignon, spice-crusted ahi and more.

The restaurant is expected to operate at 1137 Saint Louis Galleria.
