RFT: Crushed Red Makes the St. Louis Area’s Best Salad

Readers call the Clayton eatery their favorite--do you think Kirkwood diners will share the love when its second location opens later this month?

RFT readers chose Crushed Red in Clayton as the St. Louis area's favorite spot for salad, the publication revealed in its Restaurants 2013 guide.

"The product of a collaboration among some of St. Louis’ most respected restaurateurs, Crushed Red has earned its place as a must-visit lunch destination, even in Clayton’s crowded field, in a little over a year of business,” according to RFT.

Runners up include Green Bean, Zia’s, Cugino’s Italian Bar & Grill and Frida’s Deli.
