Fresh Market May Be Coming to Clayton, Hanley
The store at the corner of Clayton and Hanley has been vacant for several years.
Clayton could soon be home to a new grocery store. The empty building at the corner of Clayton and Hanley could soon be a Fresh Market.
Randy Lipton, Lipton Realty Inc., told the St. Louis Business Journal that there is a letter of intent with the organic grocer for the location.

The site at Hanley and Clayton last held Schnucks, according to St. Louis Magazine's George Mahe, who first reported the news on June 8.
Mahe's story compares Fresh Market to "a cross between Whole Foods and Trader Joe's."
