Clayton's Davis Place neighborhood will host a National Night Out event from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14.
The gathering will happen in the green space at the south end of Central Avenue and Clayton Road.
Free ice cream will be provided.
National Night Out highlights the importance of police-community cooperation in preventing crime.
