2012 Clayton Restaurant Week Begins Monday

The event will feature special three-course dinners from 20 eateries in downtown.

Patrons of 20 restaurants will have the opportunity to enjoy fine dining and help children in need this week as part of an event now in its third year.

Clayton Restaurant Week is hosted by the City of Clayton and Synergy Productions. From 5 p.m. Monday through 10 p.m. Jan. 29, the following locations of three-course meals that cost $25 plus tax and tip:

Last year's event featured 19 restaurants and drew more than 13,000 diners, a news release states.

This year, diners will be able to contribute to KidSmart, which provides school supplies to children in need throughout the St. Louis area. They may do so by including the money in $5 increments in their dining bill.

Signature Pearl Vodka cocktails and Casa Lapostolle wines also will be offered at participating restaurants as part of a specially priced promotion.
