Katie's Pizzeria on Clayton for Sale

Katie's Pizzeria, located at 6611 Clayton Road, is up for sale.

A listing posted to BizBuySell on Monday put the selling price at $1 million with $1.5 in yearly gross sales. Patch calls to the number listed as the seller were not returned.

Katie Lee, who started the business in 2008 with her father Tom Lee, is moving on to a new location in Rock Hill with her fiance Tom Collier. She and Collier raised more than $40,000 earlier this year via a Kickstarter campaign.

Lee told the St. Louis Business Journal that her father was the sole owner of the Clayton location. 

“He’s been through a lot medically,” she told the Business Journal. “I love him so much, he’s my father. (But) he’s not the best business partner. I’d rather have him just as a dad.”

Lee told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Off the Menu that she only learned of the sale Monday via email. 

The Business Journal reports that since Lee has left the Clayton location to focus on Katie's Pizza and Pasta in Rock Hill, the former owner of Northwest Coffee Rick Milton has been running day-to-day operations.
