SFSTL & Whole Foods Market Community Support Day

ST. LOUIS (May 4, 2012) -- Whole Foods Market at the Galleria and Town and Country locations will donate five percent of sales on Thursday, May 17, to Shakespeare Festival St. Louis. Store hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Raffles, food tasting, a children’s activity table, and a Will of Fortune interactive Shakespeare game are just a few of the highlights scheduled at each of the stores that day. For
specific times and events, please visit www.sfstl.com, or call 314/531-9800.

The Whole Foods event will precede Shakespeare Festival St. Louis’ wildly popular 3rd annual Shake 38 event May 18-23. The five-day event features special readings/performances of the Bard’s work in varied settings throughout the city and county. Last year’s highlights included performances on truck beds, in basements, on rooftops and in bars. More than 300 people participated. Shake 38 culminates with the preview performance of “Othello,” the organization’s 12th annual production of free theater in an outdoor setting in the park.
