Jeffrey Ricker reads DETOURS

Jeffrey Ricker reads from DETOURS:

Joel Patterson should be happy returning from two-weeks in London where he met the man of his dreams, Phillip. Instead Joel is heading to Maine for his mother’s funeral. Her last request of him is to unload the family RV on a friend in California. But he picks up hitchhikers:  Lincoln, an old fling, and his mother's ghost. Joel has to get the RV across country, ditch Lincoln, shake off his mother and get back to Philip on a route that is anything but straight.

Jeffrey Ricker is a writer, editor, and graphic designer whose writing has appeared in the literary magazine Collective Fallout, the anthologies Paws and Reflect, Fool for Love: New Gay Fiction, Blood Sacraments, Men of the Mean Streets, Speaking Out, and others. His first novel, Detours, was published by Bold Strokes Books. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, he is working on his second novel.
