Dan Matrin's "GOOD LUCK, CARDINALS" opening

On Friday, April 13 wear your red and bring your most trusted good luck charm to Ober Anderson Gallery for the opening of Dan Martin’s, GOOD LUCK, CARDINALS.” Jack, Stan the Man, Ozzie, Whitey, Lou and dozens more of your favorite Cardinals will be hanging around the gallery. Join everyone for an evening of well wishes, good stories and great art.

For almost 32 years, native St. Louisan Dan Martin has been an award-winning illustrator, cartoonist and designer for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Since 1986 he has drawn the newspaper’s front page 111-year old Weatherbird, the oldest continually drawn daily cartoon in American journalism. In addition to creating his Saturday comic strip “Postcard from Mound City,” his sketchbook assignments have taken him everywhere from gangster trials to the World Series.

Dan Martins “GOOD LUCK, CARDINALS” will be on display at Ober Anderson Gallery April 1—30, 2012. Gallery hours are Wed-Sat, 12-5 or by appointment. Valet parking is available during Friday’s, April 13, 2012 opening from 5-10. For additional information, visit www.oberandersongallery.com
