Central West End Window Walk Kicks Off

In its second year, the window walk kicks off with a day-long party. The event features pictures with Santa, roasted chestnuts, carolers, ice sculptors, Bob Kramer's marionettes, pet photography, dancers and tree lighting. A trolley provides complimentary transportation throughout the neighborhood.

The competition portion of the window walk runs until Dec. 17. It is a contest among the windows decorated for the holidays. A panel of well-known, local personalities will select first through third-place winners. Five people's choice winners will be named, determined by the public's votes. To vote, fill out a paper ballot at participating businesses or scan a QR code using a smartphone. Those casting a vote could win $50 CWE gift certificates.
