Galina Todorova works as an artist in Bulgaria where she was born and received her formal training. Drawing is media one for Galina and the foundation for all of her other works. Her sensitive pencil and ink portraits and figures reflect the humanness of her subjects and confirm art as a bridge for understanding among all cultures. The dry point prints in this show are handmade originals.

Living in the USA for six years from 2004 to 2010, Galina Todorova actively participated in the Saint Louis artist community while working at the Saint Louis Art Museum as a gallery attendant and earning her USA citizenship. The ADMIN Gallery of the St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley selected Galina’s drawings and prints for a solo show earlier this year. She received an outstanding artist award from the Saint Louis Artist’s Guild in 2009 for her entry in the Portraits Around the World exhibit.
