Complete the Puzzle: Search for Pieces Before Saint Louis Art Fair

The puzzle hunt starts today before the 20th annual Art Fair in Clayton.

The Saint Louis Art Fair is asking the public to join the fun for with a huge treasure hunt in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Art Fair.

Art Fair staffers have hidden nearly 400 large puzzle pieces all over the St. Louis area – as far east as Downtown St. Louis and as far west as Chesterfield. All the pieces will come together to create a virtual puzzle on Facebook.

The theme of the 2013 Saint Louis Art Fair is: “Are You the Missing Piece of Our Puzzle?”

Each missing piece hidden throughout the metro is made of hard plastic and is about three inches square. Treasure hunters will find them in restaurants, stores, under park benches and just about anywhere, indoors and out.

All pieces are numbered and have part of the picture on the front and instructions on the back.

Anyone finding a hidden puzzle piece can go to: www.facebook.com/culturalfestivals and add their piece to the puzzle. People can then bring their piece to the Art Fair during the first weekend in September and redeem it for a free beverage at any Art Fair beverage booth.

The numbers on all turned in puzzle pieces will be entered into a drawing for a 2013 Saint Louis Art Fair framed Commemorative Print.
