Clayton's Vest Advances to Final Round of Chef Wars
The chef of The Crossing is expected to face off Feb. 23 against Jim Fiala.
A Clayton chef has advanced to the final round of St. Louis Chef Wars.
Ian Vest of defeated Nick Cox of The Terrace View in St. Louis City on Jan. 12 with a five-course meal that featured mushrooms, brandy, cannellini beans, veal and cinnamon. Chef Wars resembles the popular Iron Chef America television show on Food Network.
The competition happened at the upscale Maplewood restaurant .
