Weekend Events Include Strawberry Festival and Derby Day

There's plenty to do in and around Clayton and Richmond Heights this weekend.

When/Where
: 6 p.m. Friday at community center in Richmond Heights.
Why Go:
Service at Our Corps Trivia Night will benefit AmeriCorps St. Louis and the Clayton Ladue Rotary Club, and interested participants are asked to RSVP by calling 314-772-9002. The event will feature free refreshments and door prizes. Participants are invited to bring their own snacks and drinks.
Pricing:
Tickets are $20. Eight people can sit at each table, and 22 tables will be available.

9 a.m. to noon Saturday at in Clayton
Why Go:
The entire community is invited to come and enjoy the day! Events will include a cake walk, face painting and more.

This celebration of local government will showcase city services and create awareness of the role city government plays in the lives of Clayton residents. Admission to the Center is free during this event.

4 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 999 N. 2nd St., St. Louis, MO (Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis Grand Ballroom).
Why Go:
The evening benefiting the American Diabetes Association will include the Run for the Roses televised live on multiple big screens, a cocktail reception with themed games and chances on horses, gourmet dinner, silent and live auctions, St. Louis trivia contest and award, and a “Capture Your Derby Attire” photo booth.
