When/Where: 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at 1750 S. Big Bend Blvd. in Richmond Heights
Why Go: All proceeds from this giant sale will benefit the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments.

When/Where: Friday at participating Clayton retailers
Why Go: Head on out and do some shopping in downtown Clayton. Numerous stores are offering special deals throughout the first Friday of each month until September.
Pricing: Participating stores will offer one of three types of discounts, the website of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce states:

• 30 percent off a designated item
• Buy one item, get one item free

When/Where: 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, Thursday through June 25,
Why Go: New Line Theatre presents the pop opera Bare.

When/Where: 6 to 11 p.m. Friday and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday at in Creve Coeur.
Why Go: Find everything you could ever want in a carnival at the corner of Olive Boulevard and Interstate 270.
