St. Louis Blogger Gives The Libertine Two Thumbs Up

Take a look at all Larissa Riley had to say about the many items she sampled during her time at The Libertine.

Larissa Riley describes herself as a twenty-something copywriter, wifey and dog lover, among other things. But she's also pretty good at food critique.

Her husband and she recently visited Clayton's The libertine and she gave a full play-by-play of her dining experience.

From crispy pig tails and sunflower seed risotto, to a diner burger and deep water hake, Riley lets you know what you are missing out on with reading her blog instead of heading over to the restaurant and sampling.

"The Libertine is definitely a welcome addition to the St. Louis food scene, as far as I’m concerned," she writes.  As I looked around at the surrounding tables that night though, I noticed a lot of Diner Burger orders — which is fine and dandy. I just hope that the people who dine at The Libertine are willing to step just a tad bit out of their comfort zone. Eating adventurously isn’t easily accepted by your average diner. But if you’re not willing to take a risk, you’re kind of missing out on all the fun."
