RFT: Disgruntled Critic Lets St. Louis and the Cheshire Inn Have It

The Riverfront Times (RFT) has a funny yet not-so-funny piece on an art critic the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission hired last month to experience the city's art scene and the unveiling of the new wing of the Saint Louis Art Museum.

His name is Michael Wilson. You can check out his review of St. Louis art and culture for Artforum magazine here.

Wilson was not all that impressed with The Cheshire where the CVC paid $109 per night to house him for two days, according to RFT.  He mentioned something about grammatical errors the inn's brochure and disdain for the recent renovations.

Check out what else Wilson had to say about the St. Louis locales he visited. Click here to read the RFT piece.
