Patch App Delivers Clayton and Richmond Heights Info to Smartphones
The cellphone application became available to iPhone users Thursday.
Smartphone users may now access Clayton-Richmond Heights Patch on the go using a free application made available for the first time Thursday.
The Patch app, available for iPhone from Apple's App Store, allows mobile phone users to view the day's top stories, flip through photo galleries, connect with local businesses and plan activities for their free time.
A similar app is planned for Android phones.
Other features include:
- Comments: Log in using your Patch account to exchange comments with other users.
- Locator: The app will automatically find news from the Patch community nearest you. Want another city's news? Just press the target-looking symbol and type in a city name or ZIP code.
- Weather: Find out today's forecast or look ahead.
