House Prowl: Fall Finds on Lake Forest, Pershing

This week, we're visiting three homes that are set for the upcoming fall buying season.

This week, Clayton-Richmond Heights Patch takes you to two houses in Richmond Heights and one in Clayton ahead of the fall buying season.

First up is a newer home in an established Richmond Heights neighborhood, 1259 Arch Terrace is listed by Gloria Gartner of Laura McCarthy Realtors for $445,000. This 15-year-old home is a two-story, four-bedroom facility that is ready for occupants. As you walk in, you are greeted with a two-story entryway and a center hall that features classic transom windows over the doorways to the living and dining rooms.

The main floor living area has a floor plan good for both entertaining and casual living. The well-appointed kitchen opens to a shared breakfast area and great room with a fireplace and plenty of built-in shelves. Beyond the breakfast area is the private deck that looks over a manageable, fenced backyard and two-car garage. Upstairs are four good-sized bedrooms and an upper floor laundry.
