Holocaust Remembrance Day Honored in St. Louis
People came together at Shaare Emeth on Sunday.
The St. Louis Holocaust Museum and Learning Center brought people together in Creve Coeur on Sunday as the world marked Yom Hashoah Memorial observances to remember the millions murdered during the Holocaust.
The museum sponsored an event at in Creve Coeur late Sunday afternoon. Participants focused this year on the estimated 1.5 million Soviet Jews victimized by the Nazis. The event also paid tribute to Russian survivors and Soviet war veterans living in the area.
