Families, Couples Gather to Celebrate Richmond Heights

The Saturday event welcomed attendees from Richmond Heights and surrounding communities.

A slight chill in the air and the chance of rain didn't keep residents of and surrounding communities from attending the sixth annual event outside of  community center on Saturday night.

"We've been coming ever since they started this," said Sylvester Dunn, a Richmond Heights resident who came with his wife.

Attendees heard live music from two bands. Blues-country band Gentlemen Bandits started playing at about 4:30 p.m., while Fabulous Motown Revue was scheduled to go on at 7 p.m.
