Second Wind-St. Louis holds a 5K and 1K Race and one mile fun walk will be held at the visitors' center at Forest Park.
The nonprofit works to improve the quality of life for lung transplant recipients and their families by providing advocacy, education, information and guidance.
The walk raises funds for Second Wind's Assistance Fund. The fund provides financial assistance to lung transplant patients at Barnes-Jewish and St. Louis Children's hospitals.
