Clayton's Andy Cohen Will Host Miss Universe 2012 Tonight: TV Schedule

The graduate of Clayton High School will co-host the Miss Universe beauty contest on NBC on Wednesday night.

Andy Cohen, a graduate from Clayton High School who has gained fame as host of Bravo's live talk show Watch What Happens Live, will co-host the Miss Universe pageant on NBC on Wednesday night. 

Cohen will be co-hosting with Giuliana Rancic for the show, which is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. CDT. Rancic is an anchor on E! News and co-host of Fashion Police, and is known for her interviews on the red carpet with Hollywood's stars.

Miss Universe is a beauty contest featuring women from across the globe. Past winners include Leila Lopes (2011) from Angola, Ximena Navarrete (2010) from Mexico and Stefania Fernandez (2009) from Venezuela. 

The contestant representing the United States in 2012 is Olivia Culpo, a 20-year-old woman from Cranston, Rhode Island.

Miss Universe will be broadcast live from the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Train will perform as the musical guests this evening. 

Cohen, who topped a local bestseller list after releasing his memoir, Most Talkative: Stories From the Front Lines of Pop Culture, recently returned home to St. Louis during Thanksgiving, when he dined with his family at Niche in Clayton.
