Three Finance and Real Estate Associates Join Armstrong Teasdale

Armstrong Teasdale welcomes associates Tony L. Chen, Rishi M. Diwan and Angela L. Odlum to its Financial and Real Estate Services practice group in the St. Louis office.


Tony Chen’s practice encompasses drafting, negotiating and closing loan transactions. He also aids lenders in assessing and securing collateral by reviewing title work, loan and organizational documents and cost schedules. In bankruptcy proceedings, Chen represents creditors in reorganizations, liquidations and related litigation.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Chen worked as a summer associate in 2011 and 2012. He earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and B.S., magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University.

Rishi Diwan’s practice encompasses transactional law with a focus on real estate. He counsels in the acquisition, sale, leasing, financing, development and construction of commercial property.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Diwan worked as a summer associate in 2012. He earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and B.S. from the University of Washington. He is admitted to practice in Missouri.

 

Angela Odlum focuses on managing clients’ financial liabilities and structuring transactions to protect their interests. In bankruptcy proceedings, Odlum represents creditors in reorganizations, liquidations and related litigation. Outside of bankruptcy, she represents commercial lenders and servicers in litigation regarding federal bank compliance, guarantee agreements, mortgage foreclosures and replevin actions. She also drafts, negotiates and closes loan transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Odlum was in private practice at another area law firm. She earned her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and B.A., cum laude, from the University of Alabama. She is admitted to practice in Missouri, in the U.S. District Court – Eastern District of Missouri and the U.S. District Court – Western District of Missouri.
