Jovita Foster Honored by Sister Salute

Jovita M. Foster, a partner in Armstrong Teasdale's Litigation Practice group, is being honored by Sister Salute, a newly formed organization that celebrates women of color.

Jovita M. Foster, a partner in Armstrong Teasdale’s Litigation Practice group, is being honored by Sister Salute, a newly formed organization that celebrates women of color. She will be recognized at the group’s inaugural luncheon event on May 11, 2012 at the Millennium Hotel in St. Louis.

An accomplished litigator, Foster works with small- to medium-sized businesses, public utilities, and Fortune 100 and 500 companies in all facets of employment and labor law. She is a member of the firm’s diversity committee and chairs the 2011-2012 United Way Campaign at Armstrong Teasdale. Foster was named a “Rising Star” by Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers ® from 2009 through 2011 and an “Up and Coming Lawyer” by Missouri Lawyers Weekly in 2007.

She received her J.D. in 2000 from Washington University School of Law, where she received the Milton F. Napier Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and the American College of Trial Lawyers Medal for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. She earned her B.A. in 1997 from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
