Jovita Foster Chosen for Special Section of Who’s Who in Black St. Louis

Jovita Foster, a partner in Armstrong Teasdale's Litigation practice group, will be featured in the "St. Louis's Interesting Personalities Section" of Who's Who in Black St. Louis.

Jovita Foster, a partner in Armstrong Teasdale’s Litigation practice group, will be featured in the “St. Louis’s Interesting Personalities Section” of Who’s Who in Black St. Louis. The book is published by Who’s Who Publishing Co., America’s largest African-American-owned directory publisher and a subsidiary of Real Times Media, Inc.

An accomplished litigator, Foster works with small- to medium-sized businesses, public utilities, and Fortune 100 and 500 companies in all facets of employment and labor law.  She is a member of the firm’s diversity committee and chaired the 2011-2012 United Way Campaign at Armstrong Teasdale.

She is a member of the board of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis and has been named a “Rising Star” by Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers® from 2009 through 2012. She has also been honored by Sister Salute, an organization that celebrates women of color.

Foster received her J.D. in 2000 from Washington University School of Law, where she received the Milton F. Napier Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy and the American College of Trial Lawyers Medal for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. She earned her B.A. in 1997 from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
